Smith Island Book Club:  Meeting on October 10 2018, 7:30 pm. at the Smith Island Cultural Center.  Our first book is "Deadrise" by Robert Blake Whitehill.


Author Meet and Greet with Robert Blake Whitehill:

October 12, 2018 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm reception and book discussion at the SI Cultural Center.

October 13, 2018 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm book discussion at the SI Cultural Center.


A Murder Mystery Weekend on Smith Island: November 2-4, 2018.
Watermen's Dinner:  November 3, 2018 6:30 pm


4th Annual Smith Island Art Festival: May 25, 2019 11:30 am - 3:30 pm.

Join in on the fun on Saturday, May 25th!  Memorial Day weekend event hosted by the Smith Island Cultural Center, celebrates the work of regional artists and the cultural heritage of Smith Island. 

Costs associated with this event:  $3.00 per person admission to the Cultural Center, Round trip ferry tickets aproximatly $26.00 per person, Missallenious costs for food, Tours, and vendor's wares, etc..

(There are no Banks or ATMs on Smith Island, most businesses and vendor's do not take credit cards.)

133nd Campmeeting: July 28th -  August 4th, 2019.

Smith Island Campmeeting established 1887, location Wilson Butler Tabernacle in Ewell, Maryland.

First Sunday July 29th: 10:00 - 10:30  Testimony meeting.

10:30 - 11:30  Morning Worship with (to be announced). 

2:00pm - 4:00pm  (to be announced).

7:00pm - 8:00pm  (to be announced).

July 30st through August 3th:  7:00pm - 8:00pm  Evening Worship with (to be announced).

August 4th & 5th:  7:00pm - 8:00pm  Evening Worship with (to be announced).

Second Sunday August 5th:  10:00am -10:30am  Testimony meeting.

10:30am - 11:30am  Morning Worship with (to be announced).

2:00pm - 4:00pm  (to be announced). 

7:00pm - 8:00pm  (to be announced).

Special Music will begin each meeting with (to be announced).
